Vukotić was hit by four bullets

The killer of Jovan Vukotić (42) rode a motorcycle to the car in which the man from Kotor, his common-law wife and their baby were, and then fired five shots at the leader of the Skalja clan, four of which hit him.

The executor escaped on a motorcycle, which he used to approach Vukotić's car.

The Montenegrin police were looking for the murdered Vukotić on an international level, but the killer found him faster - he was killed on September 8 around 19:XNUMX, while driving through the business-residential district of Medžidovo selo, in Istanbul's Sisli district.

Turkish media announced late yesterday that Vukotić was dead on the spot, and that his wife and daughter were not injured in the armed attack.

In the police files, Vukotić was marked as the leader of the organized criminal group "Skaljari", over which he assumed absolute leadership after his godfather Igor Dedović was killed in Athens in January 2019.

He was targeted several times by members of the organized crime group "Kavači", but he avoided death until two days ago.

The Montenegrin Police Directorate was officially informed a little after noon yesterday that Vukotić was killed in Istanbul.

The security institution told "Vijesti" that "the notification came to them via international channels".

Kotorana's red warrant was issued after last year the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) accused him of forming a criminal organization in November and December 2020 whose task was to liquidate the leaders of the Kavaka clan, Slobodan Kašćelan and Radoj Zvicer. Allegedly, he "ordered" those liquidations through the encrypted Sky ECC application.

According to the claims of the investigators, the "Kavčani" also ordered his liquidation - the last time this Kotor resident was detained in the Investigation Prison in Spuz.

According to the SDT evidence, the group that planned the murder was formed by the leaders of the Kavac clan, Radoje Zvicer and Milan Vujotić. SDT identified Slobodan Kašćelan, Dragan Knežević, Goran Vukčević, Igor Terzić, Danilo Bakić, Stevan Kraljević, Radovan Mujović, prison guard Vladan Lučić, Filip Knežević and Ratko Živković as members of that organization.

According to the evidence, the plan of that criminal group was to liquidate Vukotić while he was in the Investigation Prison. Weapons for liquidation, according to SDT evidence, were acquired by Vujotić. Goran Vukčević, Igor Terzić and another, so far unknown, member of the criminal group have been designated as the persons who had the task of killing the leader of the "scumbags".

Before that, they tried to poison Vukotić in the Belgrade prison, and his liquidation was also prevented in October 2020, in front of the Kotor Security Department.

Allegedly, the police also guarded him at the funeral of the tinker Alan Kožar, in August 2020, because they planned to kill him then as well.

The beginning of the war

The war between the "skunks" and the "Kavačans" began eight years ago after 200 kilograms of cocaine disappeared from the apartment of Goran Radoman in the Spanish port of Valencia. Until then, the brothers Vukotić, Dedović, Zvicer, Kašćelan... acted as a unique crime team.

According to information from the security sector, the members of Switzerland's team "stolen" the cocaine in the apartment in that Spanish port, while Radoman was in prison in Cuba. The drugs disappeared when that man from Cetinje returned to Valencia.

After the disappearance of the cocaine, the now deceased Goran Đuričković (48), Radoman's godfather and close associate, was wounded in that city. Allegedly, members of another criminal team - Vladimir Vučković and two Serbian citizens - were also lightly wounded at the same time.

Not long after, an open war between criminal groups began.

The first victim, Goran Radoman, was liquidated in Belgrade, a day after the armored "Audi" of Milan Vujotić, one of the alleged leaders of the Kavak clan, was blown up in Podgorica on February 19, 2015.

The murder of that man from Cetinje started a bloody series of conflicts in which 50 people were killed, of which at least five people died by accident.

Most of those liquidated did not directly participate in the procurement, nor in the disappearance of that drug.

Three "scalpers" killed since June

Since June 17, when a high-ranking member of the Škaljar clan and the leader of the Podgorica branch of that crime group, Milić Minja Šaković, was killed in Budva, two more people important to that organized criminal group have been killed.

Goran Vlaović was liquidated on August 21 on the Croatian island of Pag, and Vukotić on September 8 in Istanbul.
