In the operation of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) and the National Security Agency (ANB), Vladimir Vlatko Belojević from Podgorica was arrested and released, because he had frequent suspicious contacts with Radomir Sekulović, a former employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MVP) of Montenegro.
Belojević is in godfather relations with Sekulović, and the police searched his family home in Zlatica.
On the order of SDT, the officers of the Sector for Combating Organized Crime detained and detained the former MFA employee Sekulović.
A criminal complaint was filed against Belojević and Sekulović for the criminal offense of "illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances" under Article 403 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", the police found a gun and several pieces of ammunition during the search of Sekulović and Belojević's house.
Prosecutor and SDT spokesman Vukas Radonjić confirmed to "Vijesta" that the police arrested two people after the search and filed criminal charges against them with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
Radonjić also stated that at the request of the SDT, submitted on the basis of a notification collected and delivered by the National Security Agency, and by order of the High Court in Podgorica, the police searched the apartments and other premises of several citizens, due to grounds for suspicion that criminal acts of creating a criminal organization and espionage.
On the order of the SDT, the police on Thursday detained six employees of the Russian embassy and several citizens of that country because they are under investigation by the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), in an operation coordinated by the National Security Agency (ANB).
The activities, as stated by unofficial sources, are part of a wider action that ANB implements in coordination with international partners.
Last night, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that six employees of the Russian Embassy were declared undesirable in Montenegro, because they violated the diplomatic rules between the two countries, prescribed by the Vienna Convention.
