Rafters, divers, rescuers, friends of the Vuković family, volunteers... even yesterday they failed to find a two-and-a-half-year-old boy in the river Tara who fell out of the vehicle on October 7 after landing in the canyon of that river.
They were not helped either by probes, which employees of the Hydrometeorological Institute used to search the river.
The President of the Association of Rafters and Residents of the Durmitor National Park (NP) said this to Vijesti Veljko Ostojić.
He explains that yesterday they went down the river several times, which they also searched with the help of underwater cameras.
"The water level is decreasing, which is in our favor, but we have to continue. There is no giving up," he said.
Ostojić yesterday called on everyone who has the opportunity to join the search before the weather worsens.
"We must not allow the river level to rise. Tara is fast and cold, inaccessible terrains and watch out, be careful. Included are professional divers from Bijela, the Army of Montenegro and guys who scuba dive, skippers from Tara, Mojkovac, Kolašin, Pljevlja, Žabljak and rafter friends from Šćepan Polje, the police from Žabljak and Pljevlja and the Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Police, workers from NP Durmitor, the Plužine Rescue Service headed by Mirkom Cicmilom, firefighters from Žabljak, Pljevlja, Mojkovac and Nikšić, owners of hotels, shops, restaurants, construction companies, relatives and citizens visiting the coastal part of Tara," said Ostojić earlier yesterday.
The search for the boy's body lasts for days. His sister's body was found by skippers in Tara on Sunday, October 9.
Their mother was killed in a traffic accident on the part of the road between Splavište and Premčanski Most on October 7. Jelena Vukovic (27) who was driving the car. She, with her three children, drove her car into a twenty-meter-deep ravine, into the bed of the Tara River.
Immediately after the accident, rescuers pulled out a minor child alive.
