Igor Nikić, who was wanted on suspicion of having shot and killed Dragan Ševaljević (40) last night in Podgorica, surrendered to the police, unofficially informed "Vijesti" from the Police Directorate.
The shooting took place in the "Barley pub", under the City Stadium, around 22.15 pm on Saturday.
According to "Vijesti", Nikić surrendered to the police around three hours after midnight. Previously, around midnight, inspectors found the "seat" he used to escape after the murder under Gorica.
The Police Administration announced today that the actions taken so far indicate that the shooting was preceded by a verbal and physical conflict.
"Last night around 22.15:19 p.m., a firearm was used in a catering facility in 40. decembar Street, during which D.Š. (42) from Podgorica died as a result of his injuries. An on-site investigation was conducted, led by the State Prosecutor of Više of the state prosecutor's office in Podgorica.The police intensively searched for IN (XNUMX) from Podgorica because of this criminal act.
"Today, in the early hours of the morning, IN (42) entered the official premises of the Podgorica Security Department, where he was detained by order of the state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of murder. The actions taken so far indicate that this event preceded by a verbal and physical conflict between IN on one side and D.Š. and another person on the other side," the police announced.
After the murder, inspectors were removing traces from the scene.
The investigation was led by the prosecutor on duty at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office, Andrijana Nastić.
After the investigation, she told reporters that around 22.30:XNUMX p.m. she was informed that a firearm had been used at the Barley Pub.
"Police-prosecutor activities are underway to shed light on the circumstances of the event. An autopsy has been ordered on the body of the victim D.Š (40)," said prosecutor Nastić.
