According to the knowledge of "Vijesti", the witnesses of the murder told the police inspectors that Nikić, around 22 p.m., reacted violently because of the tavern guild, lashing out at the waiter.

"They also apologized that Ševaljević and L. who was with him in the company, got involved in the conflict and that Nikić, after a verbal conflict, got the better of them in a physical confrontation, after which he left the cafe. After a few minutes, he returned armed and started shooting. According to their statements, he fired six or seven shots, one of which hit Ševaljević, causing him a fatal injury, and then he ran away," claims an interlocutor close to the investigation.

Another interlocutor said that after several hours of escape, around three hours after midnight, Nikić took a taxi to the Podgorica Security Center, where he surrendered.

Previously, inspectors found the "seat" he used to escape after the crime in a settlement below Gorica, close to a hotel.

The Police Administration officially announced that Nikić, who was intensively searched for, "entered the official premises in the early hours of the morning".
