Minister of Justice Marko Kovač was elected coordinator of the Bureau for Operational Coordination (BOK) at today's session of the National Security Council.
The council, chaired by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, held its fourth session today, where, among other things, it discussed the analysis of the activities of the National Security Agency (ANB) in combating Russian and other malignant foreign influences in Montenegro, with reference to persons in relation on which measures were taken, with specific reasons for taking those measures.
The Government announced that the Agency, after appropriate consultations and other internal activities within its jurisdiction, will provide answers to the specific questions of the Council members in relation to the content of the analysis.
It is stated that, in accordance with Article 6 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Security Council, in addition to the members of the Council, the director of the Police Administration, Zoran Brđanin, also attended the session.
The National Security Council, in addition to the president of that body, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, consists of: Minister of Justice Marko Kovač, Minister of the Interior Filip Adžić, Minister of Finance Aleksandar Damjanović, Acting Director of ANB Boris Milić, President of the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense Milan Knežević, and the vice president of that committee, Mevludin Nuhodžić.
