Adžić: Anyone who abuses a police uniform will be sanctioned

The Minister of the Interior, Filip Adžić, said that anyone who goes beyond his authority and misuses the uniform will be sanctioned.

"Police officers are a service for citizens, individuals will not tarnish an honorable and responsible profession," Adžić said on Twitter.

Adžić spoke out after the Police Directorate announced this morning that they are investigating all the circumstances of the event from the video, regarding the treatment of police officers towards football player Damir Kojašević.

Kojašević previously said that on Friday, after stopping his car in the Konik neighborhood of Podgorica, several police officers "attacked him, hit him several times and harassed him" and announced that he would sue them.
