The Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) will file an appeal against yesterday's decision of the Podgorica High Court, by which the former President of the Supreme Court, Vesna Medenica, was terminated from custody.
This is what prosecutor and spokesman of the Special Prosecutor's Office Vukas Radonjić told Television Vijesti.
"The Special State Prosecutor's Office will appeal to the Appellate Court of Montenegro against the decision of the High Court in Podgorica, which rejected the proposal to extend the defendant's detention after the indictment," said Radonjić.
Medenica was released yesterday from the Investigation Prison in Spuz after six and a half months.
She was arrested on April 17 on suspicion of being a member of a criminal organization formed by her son Miloš Medenica, who remained behind bars.
