Budimir and Marina Krstović, suspected of smuggling more than a ton of cocaine, will be sentenced today.
On Monday, the Podgorica High Court announced the closing arguments in that case.
The higher state prosecutor's office filed the indictment on December 23 last year.
The Krstovićs were arrested after the police found and seized more than a ton of cocaine in the Zeta village of Mojanovići, near Podgorica, on August 24, 2021.
The Krstovićs, accused of smuggling 1,2 tons of cocaine, deny their guilt.
