On the video of yesterday's incident in front of Podgorica Airport, in which one of the leaders of the Democratic Front and the president of the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense Milan Knežević took part, it can be seen that Knežević's security initiates physical contact.
In the video surveillance footage, which was published by "Pobjeda", one can see how Dušan Knežević, Milan Knežević's driver and security guard, initiates a physical conflict with three men who previously got out of the car.
Ivan Gardašević (34) from Cetinje was detained due to the suspicion that he attacked Knežević, who was released after the Basic Court in Podgorica accepted his appeal.
One of the DF leaders said yesterday that an unknown man insulted him, and that his driver, as he claims, prevented the physical attack. He also assessed that everything was politically motivated. He said that his driver and he assessed that there could be physical contact and that he could be physically threatened.
Ivan Gardašević's father told "Viješti" last night that Milan Knežević cursed him and his son, and that the lawmaker's security later tried to deal with them physically.
The investigating judge assessed that there is no reasonable doubt that Gardašević sent any, let alone qualified, threats to Knežević, which is an essential element of the criminal offense of endangering security, for which he is charged, the Basic Court announced earlier.
They added that the video shows that Knežević's security "initiates a physical conflict with Gardašević, who previously tried to avoid that conflict by walking away".
