The management of the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS) announced that the head of the Predrag Spasojević, since his guest appearance on TV Vijesti, in the show "Načisto", did not receive permission from the authorities of the Directorate for media appearances, nor did he inform them about it.
"The written document and the information contained in it, which was partly read by the host of the show Načisto, and which was submitted to the same by the official Spasojević, are internal data, for which the appointed person did not ask for, nor did he receive permission to make them public, and finally, on this method definitely endangered the security segment of the UIKS, and partly also the internal actions that are carried out," it was announced from the UIKS.
They also said that the photos shown during the show were taken at UIKS, but that they were taken out of context.
"Which is why the media in the next period will be able to present the real state of affairs through access to all rooms, which also refers to the accommodation of persons deprived of their liberty," the announcement reads.
They point out that UIKS strongly supports the activities carried out by the competent authorities with the aim of discovering and prosecuting all the culprits of the unwanted events that happened at the Spasojević family home, but they said that the event should not be used for "political or any other points".
"An exception for the call and strong fight of the whole society against criminal activities and activities of criminal groups."
"Finally, we emphasize that all the activities and results we achieved in the previous period are the results of a group of honorable and honest people employed at UIKS with the support of the management, and that the integrity of the employees will be protected and the reputation of this state body will be prevented from being degraded by any which individual", they said from that Administration.
