The extra-judicial panel of the High Court in Podgorica rejected as unfounded the appeal of Saša Čađenović's defense against the detention of the arrested special prosecutor, court spokeswoman Aida Muzurović told "Vijesta".
Čađenović was previously detained due to the risk of escape and the risk of influencing witnesses.
He was arrested on December 9, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of "creating a criminal organization and several criminal offenses of abuse of official position" in the position he holds.
Čađenović was arrested by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, which suspected that Čađenović became a member of the criminal organization "Kavčani" in the second half of 2020 to 2022.
