The Podgorica police arrested two minors for a series of serious thefts committed in the previous days to the detriment of several buildings.
This is stated in the announcement of the Police Administration, which adds that in addition to them, another person was arrested for two serious thefts.
"The Podgorica police deprived two 16-year-old minors of their freedom on suspicion of having committed 14 crimes of aggravated theft," the statement said.
It is suspected that from January 8 to 12, they broke into shops and catering establishments in the capital city and stole money, laptops, mobile phones and other items.
The Police Administration points out that some of the stolen items were found with one arrested person, and that they will be returned to their owners.
"The police deprived A.Đ. (46) of his freedom on suspicion of having committed two crimes of serious theft".
He is suspected of stealing a vehicle in the town of Cijevna on December 21, 2022.
"The vehicle was found and returned to the owner. A.Đ. is suspected of having broken into a warehouse on January 8, 2023, and stolen a certain amount of foodstuffs," concludes the statement of the Police Administration.
