In the investigation of the murder of the leader of the Škaljar clan, Jovan Vukotić, the Turkish police found evidence that Risto Mijanović from Cetinje was tortured in the house of Željko Bojanić in Istanbul, local media reported.
According to the portal yenicaggazetsi, photos of his torture were kept by one of the accused for the murder of Vukotić, Nikšić's Radoje Živković, known as Žuti.
The investigation into the murder of Vukotić in the Istanbul district of Mecidekoy has been completed, and the indictment of the Main Public Prosecutor's Office in that city charges 16 defendants with the formation of an armed criminal organization and paid murder.
The investigation file also included photographs showing the torture of Mijanović.
The prosecutor's office established that the man from Cetinje was kidnapped on September 11, 2020, from a restaurant in Uskumrukoj in Istanbul. After he was killed, transported and buried behind the villa of drug smuggler Željko Bojanić in Zekerijakoj.
The leader of the Serbian gang Željko Bojanić, who is wanted by Europol, was arrested in his villa in Zekerijakoj on November 4, 2022.
In the announcement made at the time, it was stated that no evidence of murder was found during the excavation.
According to the Turkish media, colleagues from Serbia also submitted evidence that Mijanović was tortured, obtained through international legal aid, to the prosecutor's office there.
In the first of the photos, they report, it can be seen that Risto Mijanović is sitting on a chair naked - with his hands and mouth tied.
The second photo shows the laundry room of the villa of Željko Bojanić. The inspection established that the place in the photo where Risto Mijanović is naked and the laundry room of the villa are the same room.
The investigators also have photographs showing Mijanović lying on the ground, with his hands and mouth tied.
"It was established that the place covered with blue and white stones is actually a villa. It was understood that an attempt was made to close this place by throwing construction rubble," Turkish media write, referring to documents from the investigation.
Bojanic's villa was thoroughly renovated in August 2021, which "cleaned" the place of the murder.
