The Special State Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment against 27 defendants in the "Florida I" action to the Special Department for Trials of Organized Crime, Corruption, Terrorism and War Crimes of the High Court in Podgorica.
According to the SDT, the indictment was filed against LC, FR, DG, NP, NG, SM, RV, IA, JV, MR, BV, ML, JE, SA, SM, AD, Ž.D., M.Đ ., VR, TB, NM, VL, NM, AM, D.Ž., DM, ZG, for criminal acts of creating a criminal organization.
Against the defendants FR and NP for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, and the defendant DG for two criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
"The defendants are accused of being organizers or members of criminal organizations, whose goal is to commit crimes related to the smuggling of the narcotic drug cocaine, with clearly defined roles and tasks, and the activities of criminal organizations are planned on an international scale, for a long time and it is based on the application of certain rules of internal control and discipline of the members, in order to realize the criminal plan, participated in the smuggling of large quantities of cocaine, by sea from the Atlantic to Europe," the SDT press release states.
It is added that the activities of the competent state authorities of Montenegro and their international partners resulted in the discovery and seizure of 592,9 kg of cocaine on the ship "Yemeya" at the end of May 2019, in the port of "Horta", in Portugal, 411 kg of cocaine, on on the ship "Nadudama", in the territorial waters of the Ivory Coast and 5.108,26 kg of cocaine, on the ship "Aressa", during February 2020, in Aruba.
It was proposed that the detention of the defendants Dejan Golubović, Nebojša Pejović, Nikola Grgurović, Slavko Milić, Radislav Vojičić, Boško Vujović, Jovan Ercegović and Filip Radulović be extended.
It was also suggested that the defendants Lucian Kamporesi, IA, JV, ML, SA, SM, AD, Ž.D., M.Đ., VR, TB, NM, VL, NM, AM, D.Ž., DM and ZG judges in absentia.
