Chief Special Prosecutor (GST) Vladimir Novović met today with the ambassador of the European Union and the ambassadors of Quinta.
In a statement from the GST Cabinet, Novović spoke at the Special State Prosecutor's Office with Oana Kristina Popa, United States Ambassador Judy Reising Reinke, United Kingdom Ambassador Karen Maddox, French Ambassador Christian Timonier, Italian Ambassador Andrea Marcello and German Ambassador Peter Felten.
The meeting was also attended by the head of Novović's cabinet, Milan Dakić.
"At the meeting, the ambassadors were introduced to the organization and working methods of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, and were presented with the results of the Special State Prosecutor's Office for the past year, as well as the challenges that the Special State Prosecutor's Office will face in the current year," the announcement reads.
As stated by the ambassador, the results of the previous work were praised and support was expressed for the activities of the Special State Prosecutor's Office in the fight against organized crime and high corruption.
"The chief special prosecutor thanked for the provided and announced help, especially in the part of valuable donations and professional training for employees of the Special State Prosecutor's Office", they conclude in the announcement.
