The hearing that was scheduled today in the High Court in Podgorica, where it is planned to discuss the justification and legality of the indictment brought by the Special State Prosecutor's Office against the defendant Petar Lazović, ANB official, Slobodan Kašćelan, Radoj Zvicer, police officer Ljub Milović and of the other defendants, was postponed at the suggestion of the defense attorney.
The president of the out-of-trial criminal panel, judge Zoran Radović, postponed the review of the indictment until February 24, at the suggestion of lawyer Miloš Vuksanović, the defender of the defendants Radoj Zvicer and Milan Vujotić, who are on the run.
The judge said that the lawyer addressed the court with a motion in which he stated that he was requesting a postponement in order to copy the case files, in order to prepare the defense. Judge Radović accepted his proposal.
Defendant Lazović's lawyer, lawyer Nikola Martinović, asked the court to set several dates for the hearing in advance.
"The defense of Petar Lazović requested that a new hearing be scheduled as soon as possible and that more hearings be scheduled, in order to get to the trial phase of the main trial as soon as possible, so that we can as soon as possible present irrefutable evidence that indicates that Petar Lazović has nothing to do with He expects the court to make a decision that will include the truth and a certain degree of courage of the authorities who need to make a decision in relation to the accusations against Lazović," said lawyer Martinović.
At the beginning of January, the Special State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against the National Security Agency officers Petar Lazović, Slobodan Kašćelan, Ljub Milović, Radoj Živković, Nikola Spasojević, Milan Vujotić, Duško Roganović, Radovan Mujović, Radovan Pantović and Nikša Perović.
In addition to Zvicer, Milović and Lazović, Radoje Živković, Nikola Spasojević, Slobodan Kašćelan, Milan Vujotić, Duško Roganović, Radovan Mujović, Radovan Pantović and Nikša Perović are on the indictment.
