OMayor Memic (23) from Prijepolje and Miloš Šćekić (43) from Beran did not admit that they participated in the handover of around 10 kilograms of drugs in September of the previous year.
They denied the guilt yesterday in the High Court in Bijelo Polje, before which they answer for the crime of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
According to the indictment, on September 24, 2021, in the municipality of Bijelo Polje, Šćekić sold 9.885,1 grams of hemp to Memic for an unspecified amount.
On the same regional road, on July 22, 2015, Omer's own brother and a multiple returnee due to drugs Enis Memic, he intentionally killed a traffic policeman Irfan Kujović, at whose signal to stop, he did not stop.
In the same Bjelopolje court, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
According to "Vijesti" information from the Police Administration, Omer Memić's personal documents were found in a bag on the spot in Vergaševići, after which he was discovered.
Šćekić told in the courtroom that he came to Sljepač most that day, to "meet a person with a 'Golf 5' and to look at some goods for J. Lukač from Ljubljana", with whom he used to work on the sale of vehicles...
He claims that he did not know what kind of goods it was, but also that the person he met was not Omer Memic.
"That person opened my trunk and said that there were drugs inside and that I could buy them, but I didn't do that, I pulled the zipper of the bag," Šćekić said.
After arriving in Berane, he explained, he received a text message from J. Lukač: "Brother, that man fell, if you hadn't set him up."
Memic, who was extradited to the judicial authorities of Montenegro after his escape, said that at that time he was not even in Montenegro but in Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that he was in Germany from September 2021 to July 2022.
He also said that he lost his wallet with documents in a disco, which he reported to the police.
According to the indictment, the drug was packed in ten packages...
It was found by the officers of the Police Administration - Border Police Station, in a passenger bag, after Memic threw it away during the escape from the police officers, as he writes.
The trial started again yesterday due to the disqualification of the judge Dragan Mrdak, after submitting such a request to the President of the Court. It turned out that as the president of the non-trial panel of that court, he terminated Šćekić's custody, and after the indictment was filed.
The case was then assigned to a judge Ivan Adamović.
