Arsić fined for insolent behavior towards Komnenović

Tivat businessman Rado-Gago Arsić was found guilty yesterday before the Budva Misdemeanor Court for disturbing public order and "impertinent behavior" towards the President of the Municipality of Tivat Željko Komnenović.

Judge Katarina Vujačić-Vuksanović therefore fined Arsić a fine in the amount of 150 euros, which will be reduced by a third if the businessman pays it within 15 days of the verdict becoming final.

Arsić is also obliged to pay 30 euros for the costs of the misdemeanor proceedings that were initiated against him at the request of the Police Directorate - Tivat Security Department.

"He is guilty because on February 16, 2022, around 11.10:XNUMX a.m., he violated public order and peace by brazenly behaving towards Željko Komnenović, the president of the Municipality of Tivat, addressing him with the following words: "We will check how brave you are, you will not be in that chair forever ", as well as the words "you added the squares badly", "it is not true what was stated in the newspaper text" and "God will punish you for taking bread from my family", it is written in the verdict, which was not appealed by the defendant Arsić, nor the representative The police department, which initiated the proceedings against him.

Incidentally, we are talking about an incident from February last year when Arsić was dissatisfied with an article in "Vijesti" that was published that day about the findings of the head of the Internal Audit Service of the Municipality of Tivat who reviewed papers related to the joint work of Arsić and the local administration of Tivat. , found numerous shortcomings and possible illegalities.

Arsić then broke into the mayor's office in the Municipality building and, according to witnesses, insulted and threatened Komnenović, while Mrdak hid from her office and hid in the office of the Vice President of the Municipality, Vladimir Arsić.

However, the Prosecutor's Office rejected the reports that Komnenović and Mrdak filed against Rado Arsić on this occasion, so in the end he was only prosecuted for a misdemeanor and today he was fined 150 euros.

The joint work of Arsić and the Municipality of Tivat in connection with the construction of a large new residential and commercial building on Seljanovo, which the two parties entered into at a time when the DPS was managing Tivat, is the subject of an investigation by the Special State Prosecutor's Office, because the current city administration, led by Komnenović, suspects that the Municipality suffered millions of damages in that business.
