By the first-instance verdict of the Basic Court in Podgorica AB, he was sentenced to two years and one month in prison for illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials.
The Basic Court in Podgorica announced that the security measure of confiscation of the case was also imposed.
They state that this is a person who has previously been convicted multiple times, among other things, for the same criminal offense.
"By the first-instance verdict of the Basic Court in Podgorica, the defendant AB was found guilty of the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials, because he had an unauthorized firearm in the family home - an automatic rifle of the type "M70 AB2" CAL. 7,62X39mm, without a serial number, whose citizens are prohibited from keeping, as well as a French-made pistol, brand "Inik", model Rr-51 Police, cal. 7,65 mm, factory number 647825, with a frame in which there were 6 pieces of ammunition of caliber 7,65, whereby he did not have the appropriate document issued by the competent state authority," the announcement reads.
As they say, the aforementioned weapon was found during a search of the apartment and other premises used by the defendant.
"By the first-instance verdict, the defendant was sentenced to two years and one month in prison, while at the same time he was sentenced to the security measure of confiscation of this weapon as an object of the commission of a criminal offense," announced the Basic Court in Podgorica.
