The president of the Democratic People's Party and one of the leaders of the Democratic Front, Milan Knežević, claims that former chief special prosecutor Milivoje Katnić and special prosecutor Saša Čađenović composed questions that potential witness Jozef Asad should have learned and thus accuse him and Andrija Mandić of hiring him for of the "coup d'état" in 2016.

Knežević submitted to the media a document with 18 questions and answers in English, but it does not state their origin and date.

"It is my duty to inform the public that I am aware that during the distribution of the case filed by Saša Čađenović, another piece of evidence was found that Milivoje Katnić and he constructed the indictment and evidentiary proceedings in the 'coup d'état' case by pressuring and threatening potential witnesses and their I am also aware that it is a document on which the questions and answers composed by Katnić and Čađenović were written in Serbian and English, and which the potential witness Džozef Asad was supposed to learn and thus accuse Andrija Mandić and me of hired for the needs of the so-called coup d'état. Since Assad refused to do so, a red Interpol warrant was issued for him and an Investigation Order was issued, which is still in force," Knežević announced.

He said that, as he claims, the evidence of abuses by Katnić and Čađenović from the SDT was sent to the Prosecutor's Council and the new acting prosecutor Jelena Protić.

He called on the chairperson of that body, Tatjana Begović, to publish the document that, as he said, she received from the SDT, but also to schedule an urgent session of the Council where they would take a position regarding "another flagrant evidence of abuses" by Katnić and Čađenović.

"Since Ms. Begović was elected by the Prosecutor's Council as acting VDT, I remind her that there were enough elements to drop the fabricated indictment, but this last piece of evidence, about which the Prosecutor's Council is silent, smells dangerously of the influence of external factors, and that is why we will from now on to publicly point out the deliberate passivity of the people from the prosecution and the Council, who for some reason are protecting Milivoj Katnić and Saša Čađenović, and since the Prosecutor's Council has not decided on our complaints that we have submitted for more than a year, even after our written urgencies, I openly doubt that about the tacit avoidance of responsibility by those who assured us that the Constitution, laws and indiscriminateness will be the only yardstick in their work," Knežević added.

He said that it seems to him that "there is a greater chance that the Škaljarci and Kavčani reconcile than for the Prosecutor's Council to decide on our complaints".

"That's why I present to the public the evidence of the abuses of the Katnić-Čađenović duo, which were found in the SDT and sent to the Prosecutor's Council, which persistently and respectably remains silent on serious crimes and abuses in the prosecution that caused us irreparable damage. Let the whole of Montenegro see what we are like independently "we had the prosecution and the courts, but who today deliberately turns a blind eye to the truth that we publish. Either someone from the outside, or from the inside, thinks that everyone has the right to justice except us, and that all means are allowed against us. I have to disappoint both of them, we will not budge from anyone," concluded Knenevic.
