The mother of one of the juveniles from Sarajevo who was attacked in Bar, journalist Arduana Pribinja, believes that it is solely about juvenile delinquency and that the case has no other background.
She is in conversation for N1 said that her son and another minor from Sarajevo were attacked for no reason.
Four juveniles from Bar will be held criminally responsible for the attack on two juveniles from Sarajevo, otherwise members of the Sarajevo Athletic Club, who came to Montenegro for training.
They were attacked last night in the Bar settlement of Šušanj.
Pribinja emphasizes that, as a family, they are in shock and taken aback.
"First of all, the child is very surprised by what happened, because he has been preparing for a long time to go to Montenegro. He loves Montenegro and often goes there, he has made a lot of friends there. He loves Montenegrins and he just doesn't understand "How did someone attack him there and why? Especially because he was attacked in a situation where he did not know the attackers, where he had not communicated with them before, and not even at the time of the attack," emphasized the well-known journalist from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Pribinja explains how the children in Montenegro stayed in a hotel adapted for athletes' preparations. They left the hotel to do some necessary shopping at the store right across the street from their building. They were met in front of the shop by a group of young men whom they did not know.
"They attacked them immediately and for no reason. Harun only managed to raise his hands and say 'don't beat us'. They attacked them with metal bats and other fighting objects," Pribinja recounted for N1.
However, he emphasizes that he deeply believes that this is solely about juvenile delinquency and that the case has no other background.
Her son Harun Kurić told TV E that he is "disappointed in our youth" and that we should not treat each other this way.
He also said that this event will not shake him, and that he is looking forward to new competitions and his stay in Montenegro.
Kurić said that he has two cuts on the back of his head and a couple of bruises, but that is nothing compared to the injuries of his colleague who has a facial fracture.
"When we were buying snacks, juices, five unknown persons came, five guys our age, who attacked us for no reason. We didn't say anything, nor did we have any intention to provoke anyone. I have one or two cuts behind my head, I have a couple a bruise on his face, but it's nothing as serious as Jaran's. He has multiple fractures of the cheekbone, jaw and mesial bone," E Kurić, who is the son of Bosnian singer Al Dino Kurić, told TV.
He also stated that the landlady of the hotel called the police, who quickly arrived.
"They took us to the infirmary where they checked our injuries, so they sent us to the hospital to record it in detail and look at the injuries. That's when they discovered on a CT scan that a colleague had a facial fracture," said Kurić.
He says that he is disappointed in the youth.
"I'm a little disappointed in our youth. We shouldn't communicate like this, treat each other like this, insult each other on a national basis. We should all be raja," he said.
He added that he was looking forward to new competitions and his stay in Montenegro.
