The Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Bar announced that the isolated incident in which two young athletes of the "Sarajevo" Athletic Club were injured deserves every condemnation and the harshest punishment.
"We expect a quick reaction from the competent institutions and that the perpetrators of this criminal act be sanctioned in accordance with the law," they said in the announcement.
They state that as a responsible socio-political factor, they cannot remain silent on the inconvenience that the guests of the Bar, members of AK Sarajevo, experienced from, as they say, socially irresponsible and arrogant individuals.
"Our city is recognized as a good host, a city of multiculturalism, multiconfessionalism and ethnic harmony where everyone is always welcome," says the DPS Bar.

They add that they owe the injured young men and their families an apology.
"With the wish and hope for a speedy recovery and further successful continuation of the sports career. We hope that the members of AK Sarajevo will soon be guests of our city again, with the belief that as a society we will make maximum efforts to make the time spent in Bar remain a pleasant memory for them ", concludes the Municipal Board of DPS Bar.
