The Democratic People's Party announced that Bar was and remains recognized as a city of good people, ready to heartily accept and host all those who love that city, coming with a full heart, and that the attack on two athletes of the Sarajevo Athletic Club, in no way was, nor may represent the image of that peaceful and hospitable city.
"The Democratic People's Party strongly condemns the brutal behavior of a group of juveniles, who physically attacked two young athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bar, and in the process inflicted injuries on one of them, for which he will have to undergo surgery," the statement of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) points out. ).
They point out that they are convinced that this incident did not have any national or religious stamp, but that it was only the result of an existing problem, "the actions of several groups of aggressive persons, recognized in the light of juvenile delinquency in Bar".
"That's why it's high time to more concretely sanction all forms of such behavior, which tarnishes the reputation of the hospitable city and all Barans, who wholeheartedly condemn such a new, flagrant form of peer violence," the announcement states.
They also add that the state must sanction the attackers and finally put an end to the aggressive behavior of certain groups of teenagers, both in Bar and in other cities of Montenegro, "so that something worse does not happen, with irreparable consequences".
"Young people in our country have the right to a peaceful life without traumatic scenes, and their upbringing must take place in a sign of tolerance and optimal personality development," emphasized the DNP.
They warn that this act of vandalism in Bar has run the gamut of patience, and that a concrete and urgent response from the competent authorities is needed, "because peer violence is not only not decreasing, but is gaining momentum in the capital of Montenegro and elsewhere, which must definitely be stopped once and for all." finally!".

Four minors from Bar will be held criminally responsible for the attack on them.
Minors from Sarajevo were assisted in the Emergency Medical Service in Bar and the General Hospital in Bar.
One of the minors was diagnosed with a serious injury in the form of a broken nose and jaw bone, which is why he was transported to the Clinical Center of Montenegro for further hospitalization.
