Juveniles suspected of attacking two athletes of the "Sarajevo" Athletic Club admitted the crime and expressed remorse and said that the reason for the attack was not on a national basis.

As reported by Primorski.me, the minors were heard in the presence of their parents at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar, and the prosecutor did not order detention for them.

As the portal reports, the minors stated that the incident was preceded by a verbal altercation.

"They admitted the crime and expressed regret and remorse for what they did. They also said that the attack did not take place on a national basis. Given that they are minors, there were no grounds for detention," he told Radio Bar and Bar info head of ODT Radovan Đurišić, who pointed out that further legal proceedings will be continued against them.

In the regular procedure, the police filed a complaint against two fifteen-year-olds and two seventeen-year-olds for attacking minors from Sarajevo.

The Prosecution will collect evidence, and after they are heard, the damaged case will be in the regular procedure.

Eighteen-year-old Božidar Kaluđerović from Bar was yesterday detained for up to 72 hours after he was questioned at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar. He was arrested after the local police identified him as a thug from a group that attacked and beat minors from Sarajevo.

He is charged with the criminal offense of violent behavior.

Two nights ago, a group of young men in Bar physically attacked two athletes of the "Sarajevo" Athletic Club who came to Montenegro for training.
