This morning, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Filip Adžić, dismissed a dozen police chiefs and the head of the South Regional Center in a new series of personnel changes in the Police Directorate.
The new head of the South regional center is Miloš Vučinić, while Marko Drobnjak was appointed in Danilovgrad instead of Svetislav Čović.
The chiefs of police in Bar, Nikšić, Herceg Novi, Cetinje, Ulcinj, Kotor, Tivat, Rožaje and Plav were replaced.
In Nikšić, Dragoljub Peković was dismissed, and Lazar Šćepanović was appointed in his place, who was also appointed as the head of the Regional Center West.
According to the knowledge of "Vijesti", Petar Rolović was appointed as the new head of the OB Tivat, in the acting mandate.
Dalibor Šaban was replaced in Cetinje, and Predrag Žižić in Herceg Novi.
By the decision of the Minister and the Acting Director of the Police Administration, this round of shifts has largely completed the new personnel structure within the police apparatus.
The series of shifts started in the Department for Combating Crime, continued in the Border Police Department, and this morning there were rotations in departments and security centers.

In January 2021, Vučinić was dismissed from the position of head of the Security Department of the Criminal Police in the Podgorica Police.
He came to that position in February 2019, and that was outside the police system, which he left in the first half of 2014.
Then, the media wrote earlier, he took a severance package from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) and moved to Montenegro airlines (MA), and in that company he performed the duties of security coordinator.
He also took severance pay from MA, which he returned when he applied for the position of director of the Police Academy in Danilovgrad.
A long-time policeman, he was once the commander of the Special Police Unit, and after the May Day holidays in 2012, he was appointed head of the Danilovgrad Security Department, from where he was promoted to the head of the then Herceg Novi Security Center, under whose patronage the security departments in Kotor and Tivat were also.
In March 2022, he was acquitted of the charges of torturing Jovan Grujičić, who was legally acquitted of the bomb attacks on the house of former secret agent Duško Golubović and the "Grand" bar.
He did not answer for the fact that, as the chief of the Cetinje police, he abused Milo Ivanišević from Cetinje, but also for keeping silent about the incident.
The Cetinje prosecutor acquitted him of responsibility for abusing Ivanišević, and the disciplinary prosecutor of the Ministry of Internal Affairs justified the fact that Vučinić informed his superiors about this action only after "Vijesti" asked him about the case.
