Andrija Lambulić (20) and Andrej Šuškavčević (22) from Podgorica were interrogated by the police in Ulcinj, a few hours after they allegedly brutally beat MM (28) and MN (22) from Ulcinj on the bridge to Ada Bojana, but the inspectors immediately released, with the explanation that they are not suspicious.
This is what lawyer Zoran Piperović told "Vijesta", who went to the police station that night at the invitation of the relatives of one of the suspects.
The Police Administration announced yesterday that they had identified the suspects and launched a local search for AL and A.Š. from Podgorica, who are wanted on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense - violent behavior in connection with the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm.
It is suspected that they attacked two people from Ulcinj with a bat and a pole, hitting them several times, the police said at the time. "The injured were given medical aid, and NM was found to have serious physical injuries. The police informed the state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj about all the actions taken, who qualified the said crime and ordered the deprivation of liberty of the suspects," it says in yesterday's announcement.
"That morning, at 4.05:XNUMX a.m., I came to the Ulcinj Security Department, and then they directed me to the office of Inspector Kurpejović, who told me that he had taken short statements from the boys and was letting them go because they had nothing to do with the incident on the bridge. When I asked him what happened, he also told me that two people from Ulcinj were beaten on the bridge. As we were leaving, Inspector Milić met us, who also said - guys, you are free. It is true that they stated in the minutes that I attended the hearing, with because I explained that the boys didn't call me, but that I came at the invitation of my relatives. In that guy's statement, it says that he doesn't know anything about the incident on the bridge. Nobody ran away, and it turns out that I took them out through the cumin and ran away with them to Shkodra. The boys are not hidden, nor are they in Albania. I stayed with the police for between six and seven minutes at the most, after which the boys were released. Later, the video appeared," Piperović told "Vijesta".
