Arrested suspect for poaching on Lake Skadar

Supervisors on Lake Skadar and the police caught another poacher this morning around six o'clock, from whom they confiscated a boat, an outboard motor, and about 150 kilograms of fish.

The action was carried out in the fishing ban area "Kornjače", and the means for illegal electrofishing were taken from the poacher.

"Due to the committed criminal act, the arrested person was handed over to the prosecution," they told Vijesti.

JP NPCG points out that the vessel seized this morning is the fifth that they have seized since March 15, since the fishing ban came into force.
