Goran Barjaktarović from Beran was sentenced today in the High Court in Bijelo Polje to five years in prison for the attempted murder of Tom Barjaktarović's close relative.
According to the indictment, Barjaktarović tried to take Tom Barjaktarović's life on May 27 last year in the town of Jasikovac-Botun, at the intersection of the Luge-Budimlje-Berana road, by hitting him twice with the blade of a knife in the area located on the border of the lateral chest chest and the left side of the abdomen, and in the area of the left upper arm, causing him slight physical injuries.
Barjaktarović's detention was extended by the decision of the High Court.
