Due to the violence against the eight-year-old, as well as his friends two and three years older, by order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica (ODT), MM and VM were arrested
This was announced to "Vijesta" by the manager of ODT Podgorica, prosecutor Duško Milanović.
"The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica gave an order to the Police Directorate to deprive MM and VM of their freedom, for whom there are grounds to suspect that they committed the criminal offense of violent behavior to the detriment of three children aged eight, ten and eleven," Milanović said.
An eight-year-old boy and several of his peers were injured last Friday afternoon, when they were allegedly attacked by a group of young men and women on the sports field in Podgorica, in the Preko Morača part of town.

"Vijesti" was then unofficially told by the police that they were acting in cooperation with the prosecution in that case.
The case was reported to the police by the boys' families, and the mother of one of them told "Vijesta" that witnesses were also heard.
The grandfather of one of the boys told "Vijesti" that the group that attacked them included two adult students from the construction school, as well as two girls.
The mother of one of the attacked boys told Television Vijesti that the attackers attacked her son for no reason, and that she expects the young men of legal age to be criminally prosecuted.
