The Court of Appeals announced that a hearing has been scheduled for June 15, where the appeal of the High State Prosecutor's Office against the acquittal of Budimir and Marina Krstović for smuggling 1,2 tons of cocaine in Zeta in 2021 will be discussed.
The Krstovićs were acquitted of the charges on November 24 last year, and the first-instance verdict was then pronounced by the judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, Vesna Kovačević.
Then, after 15 months, their detention was terminated and they were released.
