The disciplinary prosecutor filed an indictment against the head of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, Lepa Medenica, which demanded her dismissal, "Vijesti" confirmed.
The proposal for the dismissal of Medenica was sent to the Prosecutor's Council by the Minister of Justice Marko Kovač, due to the suspicion that she exerted inappropriate influence on her then colleagues from the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica - Vukas Radonjić and Nikola Boričić in the case of the investigation into the opening of the border for Veljko Belivuk and Marko Miljković.
In the indictment, it is written that Medenica exerted influence on Radonjić, in the way that she called him after midnight and "in a rude and inappropriate manner, contrary to the provisions of the Law on the State Prosecutor's Office, demanded that he release Saša Đurović and Aleksandar Bošković".
Đurović and Bošković were previously arrested in the case of lifting the ban on entry into Montenegro for Belivuk and Miljković.
