Head of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office Beautiful Medenica she told "Vijesti" that she was not familiar with the proposal for her dismissal and that she would therefore not comment on the subject.
She referred the "Vijesti" journalist to the Prosecutor's Council, whose members were submitted a proposal for her dismissal the day before yesterday due to the alleged illegal influence on subordinate colleagues in the case of the lifting of the ban on entry into Montenegro of accused Serbian criminals. Great Belivuk i Marko Miljković.
The issue of Medenica's dismissal was raised by the Minister of Justice Marko Kovač, after a stormy session of the Parliamentary Committee for Justice, where the question of the behavior of prosecutors and police officers in the Belivuk case was raised, when Nikola Boricic (ODT) and Vukas Radonjic (SDT) seriously accused a colleague.
His proposal was submitted to the disciplinary prosecutor, who, after the procedure, proposed dismissal.
In the indictment, it is written that Medenica exerted influence on the then basic state prosecutor Radonjić, in the way that she called him after midnight and "in a rude and inappropriate manner, contrary to the provisions of the Law on the State Prosecutor's Office, demanded that he be released Saša Đurović i Aleksandar Bošković".
Those policemen were previously arrested on suspicion of having lifted the ban that until then prevented Belivuk and Miljković from entering the country legally, as persons of security interest.
Several prosecutors, police and government officials were heard at the parliamentary body, and due to the fact that someone opened the border for members of the Kavaka clan, who a few months earlier, according to the accusations, directly participated in the murder of two people in Montenegro.
Prosecutor Radonjić said in front of the deputies that the police administration did not listen to his, first oral order to arrest the two officers of that institution, allegedly responsible for it, and that, after he had given the written order for deprivation of liberty, she called him around midnight Medenica, asked him to release those UP officials and accused him of acting illegally.
His words were also confirmed by Boričić, the head of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office at the time, stating that the same colleague called him three times unsuccessfully asking for the same thing, and that after that she turned to Radonjić...
Boričić claims that he does not even know how Medenica found out about the case on the night of October 13, 2021, at the same time accusing her of doing everything on the orders of the then Acting Supreme State Prosecutor Drazen Burić...
At the time, Medenica did not answer "Vijenica" whether she asked for the release of the police officers arrested in that case, but she accused Boričić of telling "notorious untruths" at the Committee session, and Radonjić of only partially telling the truth in front of the deputies.
At the same time, she said that she is particularly worried about the fact that he is the prime minister Dritan Abazovic marked him as the protector of the largest criminal clan in Montenegro, judging that he does so because of "his obvious ignorance of legal regulations, and maliciously, scoring political points".
Belivuk and Miljković are also accused of participating in several murders in Montenegro. At that time, he was in charge of the Department for Combating Crime Zoran Lazovic, while the chief special prosecutor was Milivoje Katnic. Lazović's son, secret agent and policeman Petar Lazovic he was arrested on the charge of subordinating official activities to the Kavačac criminal clan, to which the accused Belgraders belonged.
At the board meeting, Abazović alluded that the direct culprit for the opening of the border was Zoran Lazović and invited journalists to investigate the family relationship between the former policeman and prosecutor Medenica.
