Twenty-three years old Dzejlan Huremovic (23) said that on November 29 last year he did not try to kill a fellow citizen Elvira Kujović, but only to repel the attack from himself.
He said this in the High Court in Bijelo Polje, before which he is responsible for attempted murder in Rožaje, in 30. September Street.
According to the indictment, Huremović inflicted serious, life-threatening bodily injury on Kujović with shots from a firearm.
In the same case, the brother of the injured Kujović's aunt is responsible for participating in the fight. Ernes Habibović (28), who, it says, beat the accused.
Huremović said that, 15 days before the event, Habibović intercepted him and asked for some money for the jeep, which his father allegedly owed, mentioning a debt of 1.000 to 5.000 euros, which was not true.
He told that that day, while he was with a girl Sandra Radovanović had lunch at the "Prizrenac" kebab shop, noticed Kujović and complained about Habibović's behavior, and that the latter had promised him that he would not touch him again.
"Then Habibović arrived, and Kujović hit me in the temple, and shortly after that 7-8 guys beat me. There was a policeman there Merdan Nokić, who tried to stop them. When I turned around, they came at me again, and I then shot Habibović in the legs, to repel the attack on myself," said Huremović.
He said that Habibović was angry with him because he thought that he had arranged for him to be beaten in the prison in Bijelo Polje, where he was serving a misdemeanor sentence, which, he claims, is also not true.
In the investigation, he said that he was beaten by two people, Habibović and Kujović. In the investigation, he said that he came to the ćevabdžinica restaurant at the invitation of Kujović's half-brother, and in the courtroom Elvira Kujović, sticking to yesterday's statement.
Habibović said that after pushing with Kujović, police officer Nokić pushed Huremović outside, but that he was able to escape from him.
"Then he approached the door, stepped inside and from a distance of about a meter, shot Kujović twice, in the head and stomach", said Habibović, explaining that he punched him a couple of times after the shooting, when he and Fetahović were trying to grabs the gun.
In the investigation, he said that the distance was about 2-3 meters, that Huremović was in front of the bar, that he first shot Kujović in the head, then in the stomach after the latter went through the other door, sticking to the testimony from the trial.
Kujović said that the injury has permanent consequences and that one projectile remained stuck to the spine, which is why, without breaking the hip, surgery is not possible.
He said that immediately after entering, Huremović cursed and insulted him, saying that he was a dangerous guy and that he grabbed him by the neck.
"After he got away from the policeman, he first shot me in the head. I felt the glow plug and the heat, and then the blood flowing, and then he shot me in the stomach. "I didn't even know about the stomach injury until they took me to the hospital," Kujović said.
