AK (73) died in an accident at a railroad crossing in Straševina, in Nikšić.
As we unofficially learn, a female person was hit by a passenger train traveling from Nikšič to Podgorica.
The train left the station in Nikšić for Podgorica at 20:20 and there were about XNUMX passengers in it. As one of the passengers told "Vijesti", the accident happened ten minutes after departure.
The train stopped about 100 meters from the accident site.
The level crossing is in the dark, and the police secured the accident site.
As locals told "Vijesta", the victim lived not far from the accident site.
"She went to the store and on her way back, crossing the crossing, the train hit her. As you can see, the crossing is in the dark, there is grass all around, and she is getting older," said a neighbor of the victim.
He recalled that for years they have been asking for the crossing to be lit and secured because accidents have happened at the mentioned place several times.
