The investigating judge of the High Court in Podgorica, Suzana Mugoša, ordered the detention of up to 30 days for Marko Mićković, Ratko Mandić, Mileta Simanić and Đok Lješković, who the Special State Prosecutor's Office accuses of having smuggled cigarettes as an organized criminal group from the end of 2018 to November 2020.
Rajko Đurović was released to defend himself and a measure of supervision was imposed on him - a ban on meeting with certain persons, Marija Raković, an independent consultant for public relations of the High Court, told "Vijesta".
Ivan Mićković from Nikšić was identified as the organizer of the group, but he has not yet been arrested. The judge ordered him to be detained as well.
"The group is accused of smuggling cigarettes that the Revenue and Customs Administration brought to them for destruction. Part of the evidence was provided by SDT with international help, that is, through the Sky applications, but also through the statements of witnesses in that case," the source of "Vijesti" said earlier.
