The Police Administration announced that in Nikšić, one person will face criminal charges and ten will face misdemeanor charges for drug abuse.
"The Nikšić police carried out a control of LR (30) in front of a restaurant, and found and confiscated a PVC package containing a plant substance suspected to be the narcotic drug marijuana, as well as a crusher," said the police.
The state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed about the event, the police statement added, who ordered that LR be arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
"In addition, due to the abuse of narcotics, the Nikšić police filed misdemeanor charges against ten people for the committed violations of the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse," the police statement states.
