Detainee Erol Asim was beaten in the room of the Investigation Prison where he is staying and allegedly got the better of him in a fight with his roommates and his arcade was broken, "Vijesti" has learned.
This information was confirmed by the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS), explaining that the incident happened a few days ago and that they informed the police about everything.
"The detainee EA received an injury in the fight, a cut above his eye. The event was reported to the police," said the Spuša prison.
According to "Vijesti" information, UIKS management reported to police inspectors that his roommates, detainees Šutaj Turkjan and a certain Kapišić, had dealt with Asim.
"The Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions took measures within its competence, we separated the detained persons into different rooms and processed them through disciplinary procedures", said the interlocutor from that institution.
The same source denied unofficial information from the prison administration - that the beaten Asim is part of the criminal group of the arrested Turkish citizen Binali Camgoz.
"According to the data we have, they were arrested in separate police operations," said the source.
The beaten Erol Asim is also a citizen of Turkey, and UIKS explains that he is in extradition custody and is awaiting extradition.
"Vijesti" was unofficially told by the Police Administration that since the beginning of July, two fights have been reported to them in the Investigation Prison.
"One was reported on July 2, and the other three days later," said the security institution.
"Vijesti" was not told why the detained Kapišić is behind bars in Spuža.
Turkjan is accused of being part of the group of the arrested police officer Dalibor Ljekočević, who is charged with selling heroin on the street.
That citizen of Kosovo was handcuffed in February, in the police operation "Lovka".
According to the Prosecutor's Office, from January 20, 2023 to February 8, Turkjan illegally sold heroin twice and marijuana once.
In the prosecutor's files, it is written that, during that period, he sold 10 and 15 grams of heroin to illegal buyers from Podgorica twice for 100 euros each:

In addition to Turkjan and Ljekočević, the policeman's brother David Ljekočević, Damir Kuč, Stefan Stefanović and Natalija Konatar, born in Belgrade and living in Podgorica, are on the dock for unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
For fighting and solitary confinement for up to 30 days
Detained and convicted persons are obliged to behave in accordance with the Rulebook, i.e. House Rules, according to which participating in a fight and inflicting physical injuries is a serious disciplinary offense and entails disciplinary responsibility.
Detainees who participated in the fight and injured Asim can be punished with solitary confinement for up to 30 days...
According to the House Rules, detained and convicted persons are obliged to respect and respect each other when addressing each other, but also to behave decently towards the employees and visitors of the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions.
