The Police Directorate announced that for damaging the national flag of Montenegro and the European Union flag in front of the Municipality of Bar, the German citizen MJK (21) residing in Bar will be charged with a misdemeanor.
"On July 2, a person employed as a security guard of the Bar Municipality building entered the official premises of the Bar Security Department, who reported that on the same day, in the early hours of the morning, the national flag of Montenegro and the flag of the European Union were damaged by an unknown person. were located on the mast in front of the Municipality building", the statement of the Police Administration states.
Bar police officers, as reported, acting on the report, identified the perpetrator.
"Notifications for the record were collected from him in relation to the mentioned circumstances, and the prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar is aware of all of them," it added.
As they said, the prosecutor declared that the actions of this person do not constitute the elements of a criminal offense for which prosecution is undertaken ex officio.
"Police officers have filed a request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against MJK due to a misdemeanor from Article 22 of the Law on Public Order and Peace," the Police Administration announced.
