The legal representative of the company "Bemax" and Ranko Ubović, lawyer Zoran Piperović, called on the Police Administration to return the cars that were taken from him to his client today, accusing Prime Minister Dritan Abazović of using the police to create disorder in Podgorica.
"I received information, because I am in Ulcinj for family reasons, that a certificate was not issued for six confiscated cars, which is important, between two years and three months old. If they are looking for something in them, I don't know what they could find, and it concerns Sky correspondence. The Ministry of Internal Affairs must issue a certificate of temporarily confiscated items for a period of 90 days, as a deadline for confiscating vehicles. I appeal, as someone who has been involved in this business for 43 years, that the cars be returned immediately. No one needs to bother. They know that they will return them as if nothing had happened," Piperović told "Vijesta".
He said that the image of the institution must be preserved here.
"And to emphasize - who needs this circus performance? Why was the bomb planted in fact a 'time bomb' to get to Ranko Ubović's private premises and for Ubović to be searched, now I watched the video of the search on the portals and was speechless. To emphasize the main thing - from the first moment I only asked the prime minister and the competent services for one thing, and that is evidence. I never said this one is guilty, that one is not guilty, I just said give evidence and there is no problem. In the absence of evidence and when he thought that the prosecutor's office and the courts turned their backs on him, my neighbor started a private war against Bemax and Ranko Ubović. And that would be his problem if he didn't use state resources for that. You can't turn an inspection into a search, you can't turn around in the hotel, foreigners, waiters, chefs... so that Ubović can also be found guilty. There is a law, there is a procedure, court orders have become, there is a court. using the police to make a mess in Podgorica is scandalous, even if my first neighbor did it," he said.
The lawyer assessed that if Abazović "continues like this" he will lead people to the perception that the law does not exist here.
"That there is no legal order, that there is no procedure, that there is only the fulfillment of the will and paranoid wishes of Dritan Abazović. And it seems that justice is always correct, and that is: the mandate began with Ubović and Bemax, nothing inflation, nothing agriculture, nothing banking sector, nothing tourism, and it will end with Ubović and Bemax", Piperović said.
He said that the police confiscated six cars owned by the company Easy drive, in which Mirjana Burzan is the responsible person.
"I think it's a leasing company. They sent me all the invoices for the mentioned vehicles and they were all cleared on March 4, 2022, March 14, 2022 and June 14, 2023," said Piperović.
