Nermina Kalač (28) was arrested on suspicion of killing a pedestrian MM (23) with a car last night around 62 pm in Rožaje and then running away from the scene of the accident.
"Vijesti" was unofficially told by the Police Administration that a criminal offense was solved this morning - a serious crime against public traffic safety, that it was discovered who was driving the "BMW X5" that hit the pedestrian.
"The driver was deprived of his liberty at 11 a.m., the ODT in Rožaje was informed about everything, to whom the person will be handed over with the criminal report within the legally stipulated time," said the UP.
The head of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Rožaje, Aldin Kalač, previously asked citizens in a statement that, if they have any information to identify the driver, to report it to the prosecutor's office or the police.
Kalač conducted the investigation, with the participation of traffic expert Mujo Nurković and members of the Rožaj police.
"The order specified the examination and autopsy of the deceased person by an expert for forensic medicine," stated Kalač.
