Podgorica resident Andrija Laković reported to the police that a fellow citizen threatened him last night Ranko Ubović, but the owner of "Bemax" denied this to the police, claiming that he did not even meet Laković last night.
Laković told the police that last night around 22 p.m. he was walking along Revolucije Boulevard towards the Atlas capital center and that at one point he noticed that Ubović, whom he knew from before, was moving towards him because, as he stated, of disagreements he had with his father Darko Laković.
Andrija Laković told the police that when he passed by Ubović and a girl unknown to him, a man who was walking behind them hit him and asked in a raised voice "if there are any problems".
"I answered that I have no problems and that I am much younger than him. Then the unknown person who was with Milan Milikić grabbed my jaw with his left hand and pushed me backwards and I fell onto the nearby plants. Then Ubović Ranko turned in our direction who was 15 meters away from us and said the following words to me in a raised tone: 'We already killed your father once... your mother and we will dismember you the next time we meet.' with Milikić and holding his hand by the dog, he tries to take out something, I assume a weapon, but I didn't see it, and he kicks me in the leg and says the words 'did you hear what he told you, that we will dismember you'", Laković stated in report.
Ubović denied all that, claiming to the police that he did not even notice Laković during the walk with his daughter and friends.
He told the police, in a statement that "Vijesti" has access to, that he learned this morning from his friend Milan Milikić that someone had reported him and that he did not know who it was.
"This was a surprise to me because we didn't communicate with anyone the whole way. After being informed at the Police Directorate about the allegations of Laković's report, I can state that none of it is true in the part that refers to me because I didn't even see the person."
Ranko Ubović said that he knows Laković by sight, that he has known his father Darko Laković for 20 years and that he had no communication with him during all that time.
"I had no business cooperation with Darko Laković, and I knew him from an earlier period as a matter of fact. As for the part of the application in which Andrija Laković states that he injured his father, I am now hearing it for the first time, and as for me, how am I I have already stated that I have had no communication with that man for 20 years and I have nothing to do with the allegations from his son's report," said Ubović.
Ubović's daughter, with whom he was walking, said that on the sidewalk on Revolucije Bulevar, she noticed a guy yelling at two girls, but she didn't know who it was.
She also said that her father called her this morning to ask her if they had a fight with anyone last night and that she was taken aback 'because they didn't have any contact'.
"After the report of Andrije Laković was read to me by the police, I can state that I do not know the person and that the statements in his report are not true," said Ubović's daughter.
Milikić told the inspectors that last night while they were walking by, a young man with a short haircut elbowed him in the arm area and continued walking.
"I turned around for what I believe was no accident but deliberate in a brash and rude manner and called him to stop which he did... I took a few steps back and asked him what was the reason for his behavior. This the person told me that it was not on purpose but that he did this by accident and asked 'what, is it some kind of problem', to which I replied don't do this again. I also told him if this happens we will have a fight," he said Milikić told the inspectors.
He said that Mirko Lađić was standing next to him the whole time, and that Ubović continued moving with his daughter and that he didn't even see what was happening.
"When we started to leave, this person said, 'I'll see you again for this.'
He also added that everything else that Laković said was not true, but that if the report of that man from Podgorica gets a court epilogue, he requests that his statement to the police be treated as a report against Laković because of the threat he sent to him.
Lađić said that he did not grab his belt, that he did not have a weapon and that Laković did not fall, as he claims in his statement. He pointed out that he also experienced Laković's blow during the deliberate passing and repeated that he threatened them with 'we'll see you again for this'.
He also said that after that threat, he returned to Laković and told him "come on kid, get out of here and literally turned him in the other direction to continue moving on".
And he claims that Ubović could not have known about that event and that he did not interfere.
