Plav police filed criminal charges against RO (36) and MO (34) from Gusinje on suspicion of having committed the crime of theft as accomplices, the Police Administration announced.
RO and MO, as the Police Administration added, were caught exploiting gravel.
"Namely, the Plav police, acting on the knowledge that gravel is being exploited in the Grnčar river bed, went to the scene together with the water inspector, where they found two people carrying out gravel exploitation, more precisely RO operating a work machine - a loading bucket, and the Ministry of Defense with a treated vehicle on which there were about five tons of fresh sandy material - gravel. Another ten tons of gravel were found in the immediate vicinity that these persons had previously dug from the Grnčar riverbed," the announcement states.
The Police Administration said that the state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Plav was informed about the incident, who ordered that a criminal report be filed against the RO and the MO due to the suspicion that they committed the crime of theft as accomplices.
