Citizens of Montenegro BP (1986), RB (1976) and BB (1988) were arrested in Serbia on suspicion of selling marijuana, the Ministry of Interior of Serbia announced, as reported by RTS.
According to reports, an international Interpol warrant has been issued for one of them on suspicion of having committed serious crimes as a member of a Montenegrin organized crime group.
"Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Smederevo, arrested Montenegrin citizens BP (1986), RB (1976) and BB (1988) due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they had committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and placing on the market narcotic drugs," announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.
It is stated that the suspect BP, for whom an international Interpol warrant has been issued due to the suspicion that he committed serious crimes as a member of a Montenegrin organized criminal group, is also charged with the criminal offense of falsifying an official document, considering that the police found on him during his arrest falsified identity card of another country.
They add that during the search of the house and apartment in Kovino, where BP is staying undeclared, the police found more than 20 kilograms of marijuana, a scale with traces of narcotic drugs, as well as about 20.000 euros.
The suspects were detained for up to 48 hours, and they were brought to the competent prosecutor's office with a criminal report.
