The man from Nikšić arrested for the murder of Radovan Popović and the concealment of that crime, Radovan Radović, was ordered to be detained for up to 30 days due to the risk of escaping and repeating the crime, "Vijesti" has learned.
The prosecutor had previously proposed to the investigating judge to order him into custody.
This was answered by the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
"In the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, a case was opened against the person RR, for the criminal offense of murder committed to the detriment of the person RP, and the person VR, for the criminal offense of failure to report the criminal offense and the perpetrator. Both persons were interrogated by the prosecution as suspects. who presented their defence, and the person RR was detained by the prosecutor for 72 hours and an order was made to conduct an investigation with a proposal for detention, which was submitted to the High Court in Podgorica, the investigating judge, according to which proposal the High Court in Podgorica for today's scheduled hearing," explained the head of that prosecution, prosecutor Lepa Medenica.
