Today, the Judicial Council selected and appointed 11 judges of basic courts, who will take the solemn oath before that judicial body on September 12.
The Judicial Council stated that Miloš Jokanović, Ivana Žujović and Ivana Radović were assigned to the Basic Court in Podgorica, Darko Božović and Tanja Kuburović Radusinović to the Basic Court in Nikšić, and Miloš Moračanin and Milica Ćetković to the Basic Court in Danilovgrad.
As they said, Artan Kroma and Hasire Bećović were assigned to the Basic Court in Ulcinj, Ana Rovčanin to the Basic Court in Bijelo Polje and Vera Femić to the Basic Court in Bar.
"The Council made a decision on the selection and appointment of Rad Zarubica and Sabina Canović as judges in the Court for Misdemeanors in Podgorica," added the Court.
As they said, based on the final evaluation proposal of the Center for Training in the Judiciary and the State Prosecutor's Office for the duration of the theoretical and practical part of the initial training for selected candidates for judges of the Administrative Court, the Council determined the evaluations for Lidija Novović and Milena Marković Vujanović.
The Judicial Council stated that decisions on their selection and assignment to the Administrative Court of Montenegro were made at the same time.
"The newly elected judges of the Administrative Court of Montenegro, the Basic Courts and the Court for Misdemeanors in Podgorica will take a solemn oath before the Judicial Council on September 12," the statement said.
As it is added, the termination of the judicial functions of Ram Striković, judge of the Appellate Court of Montenegro, Rifat Erović, judge of the Basic Court in Bijelo Polje and Nevenka Kovačević, judge of the Court for Misdemeanors in Podgorica, was confirmed at personal request.
It is stated that a decision was made to publish a public advertisement to fill one vacant judge position in the Court of Appeal, a public advertisement to fill three positions in the higher courts, as well as an internal advertisement to fill one judge position each in the basic courts in Nikšić and Bijelo Polje.
At the session, an opinion was given on the number of established positions in the Proposed Rulebook on the internal organization and systematization of the Appellate Court of Montenegro.
As it was announced, the Council considered and adopted the proposal for budget funds of the spending unit "Judicial Council" for the following year.
