MM and MD transported a total of eight meters of beech firewood in trucks without valid documentation on the origin of the wood assortments, and the trucks did not have valid traffic permits, the Police Administration (UP) announced.
The announcement states that during the previous evening, around 3:35, in Mateševo, the Kolasin police officers controlled two heavy-duty motor vehicles and the people driving them - MM and MD
"It was established that these two persons were transporting a total of eight meters of beech firewood. The control also established that MM and MD did not have valid documentation on the origin of the wood assortments, as well as that the vehicles they were driving and transporting said assortments did not have valid traffic permits," the announcement states.
The UP said that MM and MD were sanctioned, and that the vehicles were sent for an extraordinary technical inspection.
"The competent prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kolašin has been informed of the event, who will subsequently make a statement about the eventual legal qualification of the act," the announcement concludes.
