The police in Rožaje filed a criminal complaint against MI (44) on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of forest theft, the Police Administration (UP) announced.
"MI (44) committed the criminal offense charged against him in such a way that, during the control of the vehicle he was driving by the Rožaj border police, it was determined that there were beech trees and logs in the cargo area of the vehicle in the amount of about 10- 12 cubic meters," the announcement states.
On that occasion, as they said, he did not possess the necessary documentation on the origin of the aforementioned assortments, and was handed over to the officers of the Security Department (OB) Rožaje, who collected information on the circumstances of cutting, loading and transporting beech logs.
"The prosecutor was informed of the incident and stated that elements of the criminal offense of forest theft are acquired in MI's actions," the Police Administration announced.
