The Podgorica High Court has blocked property owned by members of the organized criminal group Kavači or persons close to them, due to the suspicion that it was acquired through illegal activity.
The investigating judge of that court, Suzana Mugoša, made such a decision acting on the proposal of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) - to temporarily block the assets of the defendants in the case against the defendant Radoj Zvicer and others, due to the criminal offenses of creating a criminal organization and money laundering.
Zvicer is one of the leaders of the Kavac criminal clan, and the SDT charges him in several cases formed due to murders, drug smuggling, and money laundering. He is on the run, and the police are reportedly looking for him
At the same time, a temporary measure prohibiting disposal was placed on the vineyards of Milan Vujotić in Sadine, Podgorica.
He is considered to be Switzerland's right hand man.
"A temporary measure prohibiting the use and disposal of immovable property with the recording of the ban was adopted ... in relation to: Real estate recorded in the Immovable Property List 188 KO Podgorica I, formally owned by the person Vujotić Zorica, real estate recorded in the Immovable Property List 1 KO Bioče and only in in relation to plot number 29 - location 'below Bršlanica', in the name of Vujotić Dragoljub Zorica, on which plot there are residential buildings and a swimming pool under construction, the construction of which was not recorded in the cadastral register," the decision reads.
With that decision, an apartment under Gorica, a garage space, as well as a house under construction with a swimming pool were also blocked...
92 square meters is the area of the house on Velje brdo, which is also blocked by the decision of the High Court. According to the document, it is formally owned by Sally Albert. In addition to the "main" one, it is said that his auxiliary house of 77 and a yard of 303 square meters were also blocked.
In addition to the vineyard in Sadni, the prosecutors requested and obtained a decision from the court to block Vujotić's meadows in Doljani and the yard of the house.
In Bogetići, slightly more than 10.000 square meters of forest owned by Rajko Perišić were temporarily blocked, and this man from Nikšić also had his office space in the city center under Trebjes blocked, as well as pastures, fields and meadows in Povija.
In Kotor, in the same case, they blocked the forest that is formally owned by Dušan Jovanović, but also on the part of the road that belongs to Jovanović.
The property formally owned by Ilija Dapčević - a forest and a construction plot in Dobrota - has also been blocked. That Kotoranin was forbidden to dispose of a 42-square-meter apartment in Budva.
In Dobrota, several thousand square meters under the forest - formally owned by Petr Dubreta - are also blocked.
"...And a passenger motor vehicle of the brand 'audi A8 6.3 W 12 Quatro' (special passenger vehicle), registration number PG-FN692, black metallic color... formally owned by Ivan Đurović, because there is reasonable suspicion that the said property was acquired criminal activity," the court's decision reads.
At the request of the SDT, the High Court also blocked the property in Velje Brdo, which is "formally owned by Seli Alberto, because there is a well-founded suspicion that the said property was acquired through criminal activity."
He has a house of 92 square meters, an auxiliary of 77 square meters and a yard of 303 square meters.
"A temporary security measure can last at most until the decision on the permanent confiscation of property benefits acquired through criminal activity takes effect. The appeal does not delay the execution of the decision," the court's decision reads.
