The special police department determines the veracity of the information that there was an intention to bring weapons into the Spuška Investigation Prison.
According to information from the security services, one of the members of the warring criminal clans was supposed to be killed with that weapon.
"Unbelievable as it sounds, this was supposed to deepen the war between the skalars and the kavchans, because there are allegedly contacts between the leaders of these organized criminal groups. The information is that the possible targets are a skunk from Cetinje whose detention will soon expire or a man from Budva who has been behind the bars of Spuža for more than a decade", said the interlocutor from the security sector.
The same source revealed to "Vijesta" who from the top of the two Kotor clans is negotiating about burying the hatchets.
None of them lost a family member in the bloody cocaine war, which makes their positions easier.
The interlocutor of "Vijesti" added that local and regional services are trying to determine who would not like such a turn of events, that is, who allegedly planned the murder in Spuž, which, according to this information, was foiled by the security services.
9 years have passed since the confrontation between the then unique Kotor clan began in Valencia. In that Spanish port, over the theft of 200 kilograms of cocaine, Goran Radoman and Goran Đuričković clashed with the leaders of the current Kavak clan
Analysis of the global initiative
Although the sources of "Vijesti" claim that the leaders of the Kotor clans are negotiating a reconciliation, the analysis of the "Global Initiative to Fight Organized Crime" recently showed that no one is powerful enough to calm down or break up the Montenegrin criminal clans, so the rivalry between them will continue.
"Reconciliation after seven years of conflict is unlikely, especially when some of the assassinations were carried out in front of family members. Moreover, no one is powerful enough to pacify or break up the clans. The conflict will remain, but the number of murders will not increase due to their high cost - allegedly targeted strikes on rivals cost over a million euros. Besides, some of the main targets have already been killed. Those who are still at large or on the run will be more careful about movement and communication and invest more in protection. There is also a risk that hired assassins will be killed in order to prevent their potential testimony in the courts," the analysis states.
The beginning of the war
The conflict between the members of the previously unique Kotor clan began at the end of 2014 in Valencia, after Goran Radoman from Cetinje found a load of 200 kilograms of cocaine in the apartment, which, according to claims from the security sector, was also paid from prison.
The murder in the prison was supposed to deepen the war between the skalars and the kavchans, because there are allegedly contacts between the leaders of these organized criminal groups. The information is that the possible targets are a swindler from Cetinje whose detention is about to expire or a man from Budva who has been behind the bars of Spuža for more than a decade," said the interlocutor.
Before he arrived in Valencia at the end of that year, the main base for transporting cocaine to the countries of Western Europe, Radoman spent several months in a Cuban prison due to a traffic accident.
Reliable sources claim that he took a load of cocaine from the apartment, even though he was told who hid it there.
According to data from the security sector, this was done by his previous business partners - Radoje Zvicer and the Kotor criminal group.
He, however, earlier interlocutors of "Vijesti" claimed, took someone else's expensive white powder in order to "charge" for the use of his resources for the time he spent behind bars.
According to insiders, this was the trigger for a war that lasted for almost a decade, and the criminal gang from Kotor, intertwined with family and godfather ties, then split into two clans - Škaljarski and Kavački.
Nine years after the first confrontation in Valencia, in which there were no victims, the consequence of that war is more than 60 dead, dozens of wounded, accidental victims among them, confrontations all over Europe...
The first victim of the cocaine war was Goran Radoman, liquidated in February 2015 in Belgrade.
The Montenegrin police previously officially announced that the murders of Montenegrin criminals were the result of a conflict between two strong criminal groups from Kotor. They indirectly communicated that the theft of valuable cargo was the cause of a bloody, street war between clans that were once one team.
